David W. Frome, CPA

David Frome is a CPA and managing member of Frome & Company, PLC. After graduating from Western Michigan University, David worked from 1974 thru 1980 for Plante & Moran CPA’s in Southfield Michigan before moving to Phoenix and working for a large local CPA firm from 1981 thru 1985. In 1985, David ventured out with his own practice, followed by a firm that he co-founded with partners that flourished until 1995. In 1995 he served as the CFO with a local manufacturing company/client before returning to public accounting in 1997, when the current firm was founded.
David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and Toastmasters International. He has served on various ASCPA committees. His firm is a past recipient of Accounting Today Magazine’s Gold Circle Award for Innovative Client Service.
David is an avid distance runner, completing many half marathons and ten marathons, including Boston 2005 and 2009.

David Damazio, an Arizona native, has been in the accounting industry for more than 21 years, and is a Member of Frome & Company, PLC. Having earned his Enrolled Agent (E.A.) credentials, he is a federally authorized tax practitioner who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers. David passed the examination to earn his credentials on the first attempt, and he became an A.B.A., Accredited Business Accountant, by receiving the second highest score for all examinees in the country on the day of his A.B.A. exam.
David is a member of Central Arizona Chapter of Enrolled Agents (CACEA), National Society of Accountants (NSA), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), and is a certified Pro Advisor for QuickBooks.
In his free time, David enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife Sonja and their three children, Ally (21), David Jr. (12) and Christian (9).

Terri E. Leybeck, CPA, CEA

Terri Leybeck is a CPA and CEA (Certified Estate Advisor) and a member of Frome & Company, PLC. She joined the firm after owning and managing Christian & Leybeck, PC in Chandler from 1998-2003. She provides tax planning and preparation services for all entities, as well as financial statement preparation, accounting and consulting services for closely-held businesses. She specializes in estates and trusts, including compliance and tax preparation for those entities.
Terri is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Chandler Rotary Club.
She enjoys camping, hiking, traveling the state, and spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.

Joe Sheedy is a CPA who joined Frome & Company, PLC in 2004 after six years of working with another CPA firm. He was certified in 1994 after spending his early career in the construction industry in Southern California. For the past twelve tax seasons, Joe has assisted small business clients and individuals with tax strategy consulting and their tax preparation.
Joe is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. In his spare time he enjoys biking and hiking in Arizona and other western states.

Emily Tieman, CPA

Emily Tieman started working at Frome & Company, PLC in 2006 after interning with the company for two summers. Her primary responsibilities include QuickBooks consulting, accounting, financial statement compilation and tax preparation.
Emily graduated from Brigham Young Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Informational Systems. She received her CPA certificate in December 2009. Her achievements include “Accounting Woman of the Year” 2004 and Academic Scholarship at BYU, Idaho.
Emily is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, playing tennis, making crafts, and spending time with her family.

Lovie M. Beird

Lovie Beird is the billing manager and bookkeeper for Frome & Company, PLC. She is a Phoenix native and a graduate of Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business. After college Lovie worked for an impressive roster of both “big-eight” and boutique CPA firms as an administrative assistant, during which time she had the pleasure of working with David Frome. She then dedicated 13 years to her home daycare business while raising two sons. In 2004, Lovie reentered the workforce and joined Frome & Company, PLC.
In her spare time, Lovie enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband, sons, and grandson.

Diane Tone

Diane Tone joined Frome & Company in 2011 after working for two years as an administrative assistant and bookkeeper for Papago Golf Course. Prior to that she had spent 2 ½ years as a production supervisor for Arizona Archery Enterprises and 25 years as the co-owner of Cavalier Archery.
Diane resides in Gilbert with her husband, and enjoys golfing, playing bridge, and officiating archery tournaments in her spare time.

Anika Adamson joined Frome & Company in 2011 as an intern to earn hands-on experience during the busy season. She recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University and will begin sitting for the CPA exams in the summer of 2012.
Anika is an Arizona native and enjoys playing piano, reading and hiking with her husband in the cool winter months.

Chen Xiang

Chenny Xiang joined Frome & Company this year as an intern. She is an accounting student at the University of Texas at Dallas and will be graduating in May 2012. She will also finish sitting for the CPA exam in 2012.
Chenny comes from China and has been in the U.S. for more than three years. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with friends.

Cheryl Phillips

Cheryl Phillips joins Frome & Company as receptionist for the 2012 tax season. Cheryl has three years’ experience as a receptionist in a large local accounting firm. Prior to that, she worked in the insurance field, working closely with commercial business insurance. She currently holds an active license as an Arizona Property & Casualty insurance agent and is a past recipient of the Certified Insurance Service Representative “CISR” designation.
In her free time, Cheryl enjoys crafting, particularly sewing and machine quilts. In her first two years living in Tempe, she completed 10 quilts and 24 quilt tops!
