David Frome is a CPA and managing member of Frome & Company, PLC. After graduating from Western Michigan University, David worked from 1974 thru 1980 for Plante & Moran CPA’s in Southfield Michigan before moving to Phoenix and working for a large local CPA firm from 1981 through 1985. In 1985, David ventured out with his own practice, followed by a firm that he co-founded with partners that flourished until 1995. In 1995 he served as the CFO with a local manufacturing company/client before returning to public accounting in 1997, when the current firm was founded.
David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA) and Toastmasters International. He has served on various ASCPA committees. His firm is a past recipient of Accounting Today Magazine’s Gold Circle Award for Innovative Client Service.
David is an avid distance runner, completing many half marathons and 16 marathons, including Boston 2005, 2009 and 2018.
Elizabeth Marshall received a hearty welcome back to Frome & Company in 2015. She had previously worked for the Firm from 2006 to 2011. In 2011 E-Beth moved to Michigan and worked for a medium size accounting firm for a year. She then worked for a client as a controller for a large restaurant and real estate holding company. The holding company had 21 locations throughout Michigan. E-Beth directly supervised three staff members. Her department ensured ACA compliance, internal controls for restaurant cash handling procedures and cost of goods monitoring. She helped implement weekly reporting for all locations and streamlined payroll process to be completely paperless for 250 employees.
Her primary responsibilities at Frome & Company include QuickBooks consulting and training, financial statement compilation and tax return preparation.
E-Beth graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting. She received her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Keller Graduate School.
In her spare time, E-Beth enjoys traveling, cooking and crocheting.
